Wear clothes that will ensure the right temperature for your body.
Routines are good. Try to go to bed and get up at the same time every day. Drinking coffee late in the night is a strict no. Avoid stimulants such as coffee, chocolate, soda or tea in the evenings. Reading in bed can be a problem. Read with a bright light on, if it helps you get sleep. Having a light snack before you hit the sack won’t keep you up, but a big meal will. Keep your workouts to much earlier in the day and not close to your sleeping time.
Don’t watch the clock. Anxiety is what wakes you in the middle of the night. Inadvertently, watching the clock can make you anxious.
Don’t get stressed out if you feel you aren’t getting enough sleep. It will just make matters worse.
